Downtown Sacramento Growth-2 Years After Golden 1 Arena
Ever since the completion of the Golden 1 Arena in downtown Sacramento, the city has seen a renaissance of new skyscrapers and development. The area has been infused with $1.4 billion in new projects just in the downtown area since 2016. This has been led by growth in the retail and office markets. Vacancy rates are way down and so is unemployment. All around very positive signs.
Gas Tax Repeal Gets a No in California
Good news for California roads and bridges. Proposition 6 which got shot down on November 6 will increase the gas tax by 12 cents a gallon and diesel by 20 cents. This will assist the State in funding much needed infrastructure repairs and improvements.
