Got Sand?
Construction grade sand used in concrete and glass is a limited supply on earth. Sand is the second most widely used resource next to water. Desert sand, which has historically had little construction value may be a good alternative for production level concrete.
Wind Farms on the Ocean?
Humboldt County in Northern California is planning a wind farm off the coast. This will help supplement the area’s energy needs. The first ocean wind farm was constructed off the coast of Scotland last year.
