William Jessup University

Rocklin, CA

CWE has been involved with the planning, civil design, surveying, and construction staking for projects on the William Jessup University campus since 2011. These projects have included: conversion of existing warehouse space to a new, state-of-the-art cafeteria, gymnasium, and music building; development of plaza space to enhance the campus grounds; conversion of one existing building to dorm rooms; parking lot expansions; parcel mapping; and master planning for future development. These projects have combined to transform what once was an industrial facility into a modern private university campus that educates thousands of young minds each year. The campus continues to grow to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding communities which surround the university.

Allan Hancock College

Santa Maria, CA

This project included the construction of three new education buildings for the Industrial Technologies Department as well as a new track and football field, soccer fields, and a new baseball field. The project also required new parking areas and a loop access road with utilities to serve these new facilities. One of the more important improvements constructed with this project was the expansion and upgrading of the existing storm drain system and the detention basin to accommodate storm drain runoff from the new development. The project also incorporated bio-infiltration systems to provide water quality treatment.

Scotts Valley High School Accessibility Review

Scotts Valley, CA

This project included modifications to an existing high school campus, to change portions of the site that were not consistent with federal accessibility requirements. Work included site survey and civil design for the applicable repairs.  Site design included sidewalk, hardscape, parking, site signage and drainage required to bring the site into compliance with current accessibility requirements.  Robert coordinated approval of the contract documents with the owner and the State Architect.  CWE also provided construction assistance as needed.
